Weekly Update

Last week of the Campaign
This is the last week of our Neighborhood Missions Trip Campaign.  We’ve been encouraging people to identify, invest and invite.  Clearly this is not just a short term strategy.  For the believer in Jesus Christ, this ought to be the course of our lives.  Pray that tomorrow will be fruitful with neighbors coming and that pastor’s message will hit home for them in a very real way.  We have had 2 people saved in the past week and half, and will have several baptized tomorrow!  God is so good to us.

Meeting Last Week
At our meeting last week we talked about an enrollment check up.  I asked our class leadership teams to follow up on chronic absentees in a push here at the end of the year.  Anecdotally I saw some movement on that this week as people recorded interactions on ShelbyNext.  Looks like there were some great conversations with some people who hadn’t been connected with in a while.  Thanks to those who have responded with this push.  God really does reward our work, so let’s do what we can as the year comes to a close. 2019.11- ABF and Student Ministry Leadership Meeting

Christmas Decorations Help
We have a need for help with decorating for Christmas this year.  We have scheduled to do so on the 2nd and 3rd of December.  Please announce and invite volunteers to come help these 2 days in your class.  Breakfast and Lunch will be provided, and any help we could get would be very much appreciated.

As I think about what I am thankful for, Canton Baptist Temple, and you leaders specifically and individually are on that list!  Thanks for all you do!
